How it works

Snap it
Point your phone at the front of a business, or at its menu board, and tap Send. Several photos of the same place are welcome: the sign, the hours in the window, the menú del día.

We do the rest
Solamigo reads the sign, looks the business up, and works out whether it's new or already listed. Then a person on the team checks it.

See what happened
"My finds" shows the outcome of each photo: added, updated, already listed. No signal on your walk? Photos wait on your phone and send later.
What to photograph
Yes please
- ☀Shopfronts with the name visible
- ☀Opening hours on the door or window
- ☀Menu boards and menú del día signs
- ☀Vans and signs for plumbers, electricians, gardeners
- ☀Places that have just opened, closed or changed hands
Please don't
- ✕People. Wait until the doorway is clear.
- ✕Inside someone's home or a private garden.
- ✕Car number plates in the middle of the shot.
What is sent
Each photo, where and when it was taken, and a random ID for your device. Nothing else: no name, no email, no contacts. Photos are private evidence for the team and are deleted 90 days after review, unless one is published as a listing's storefront photo. Delete the app and the ID is gone.
Questions scouts ask
Will my name appear anywhere?+
No. There's no account, so there's nothing to show. Listings never say who photographed them.
What if the place is already on Solamigo?+
Still useful. We compare your photo with the listing and fix anything that's changed: new hours, a new phone number, a new menu.
Does it work outside my town?+
Send from anywhere. We're starting with the Costa Blanca and adjacent areas, town by town, so a place further out may wait a while in the queue.
Who sees my photos?+
The small Solamigo team, and nobody else. A photo only becomes public if a person picks it as the listing's picture, and never one with people in it.
