Registering for public healthcare
EU citizens with residency and workers paying Spanish social security can register for public healthcare at their local health centre (centro de salud). Bring your NIE, padrón certificate, and social security number. UK citizens can use the S1 form if they are pensioners. Once registered you receive a SIP card which you present at all appointments.
In Rojales / Ciudad Quesada
Rojales and Ciudad Quesada each have a centro de salud (health centre); which one is yours depends on your address.
