Seeing a doctor at the centro de salud (health centre)

With your SIP card you book GP appointments at your assigned centro de salud (health centre) — the one named on the card. Book via the GVA +Salut app, the sanitat.gva.es website, the phone number printed on the SIP card, or at the desk. Bring the SIP card to every visit. If you need an interpreter, say so when booking; some centres have English-speaking staff but it isn't guaranteed. Prescriptions go electronically onto your SIP card — you just show it at any pharmacy. Out of hours, the Punto de Atención Continuada (PAC, urgent care point) handles urgent cases without appointment. Specialists require a referral (volante) from your GP first.
